Minister of Music

Dennis joined our church as Minister of Music on March 20, 2011. He is a native of Spartanburg, SC and graduated from Dorman High School. After a tour in the United States Air Force and the Vietnam War, Dennis continued his education and graduated from the University of South Carolina, where he studied music as a vocal performance major. He has served in South Carolina churches since 1973. Dennis is married to Wendy McAbee Miller and they have three children; Jonathan, Lindsey and Landon.

As a worship leader, Dennis believes the purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals can share their gifts and be an integral part of worship.

Our Staff… Dennis Miller

I had the privilege of being called as pastor of West Springs Baptist Church on January 5th, 2014. Suzanne and I have enjoyed a very blessed beginning to our ministry here. However, it is only the beginning and we are very excited about the future as we pray and believe God for His blessing upon His church here in the beautiful West Springs Community.  If you are looking for a loving, unified, mission-minded, exciting church that is passionate about Jesus Christ and reaching people with the gospel message, we invite you to come and worship with us.
